The 2025 Myths & Fables Winner and Finalists

We’re thrilled to congratulate Kimberly Ramos, the winner of Frontier Poetry’s 2025 Myths & Fables Prize! Her poem “Asian Cowgirl is Doomed from the Start,” was selected by Jennifer Chang as the first place winner. Our readers and editors were deeply inspired by the ingenuity, reclamation, subversion, and rewriting of both myths & fables in this contest’s submissions. As always, we are so grateful for the continued support of our submitters, readers, and friends.

Kimberly has been awarded the first-place prize of $3,000. Cheyenne Mann was selected as the second-place winner and Allison Norwood as the third place winner.
