National Poetry Series

For U.S. residents: $10,000 and publication. Open to poets at any stage of their career; send in your unpublished manuscript and earn one of the highest accolades available to an American poet. Submit here.

Honeysuckle Press Chapbook Contest

The incredible Danez Smith is judging this year’s chapbook contest for Honeysuckle Press: “I love poets who know that they must write what they must write, who take risk, who know the importance of silence, who know that editing is where the magic happens, who know their poetic lineages, who write with hunger, who write with bravery, who leave it all on the page, who leave it all.” Winners receive $500 and publication. Submit here.

Winter Tangerine

Winter Tangerine is an amazing journal doing amazing work. Send them 2-7 poems, no line length, & they “want poetry that risks and flirts, poetry that rewires your brain, and poetry that deems the laws of the universe irrelevant.”  Submit here.

20.35 Africa: An Anthology of Contemporary Poetry
